The original legshield beading that was used on all models up to the series PX/T5/PK/Cosa were made from aluminium. After this PIAGGIO changed to single coloured plastics. To make it easier for you when you are restoring, we assign each part to the model name, as the vehicles are known and in which the part was originally installed. 1-piece aluminium legshield beadings can be only mounted with the proper flange tool. The plastic version can easily be inserted over the mounting crease. When mounting a 2-piece beading, it is clamped to the leg shield by grub/sheet metal screws.
Double bar beadings are always two parts and are fastened by a set of screws to the leg shield. Ideal for mounting clamp mirrors, headlights etc.
